Icons in any right have strayed the path and made their own to inspire countless people. This is what made them standout and not blend into the crowd. It doesn’t mean that being unique is easy, these people are often picked on and teased for not following the crowd.


Donning a new hair color all the time Doe Deere understands what it means to stand out from the crowd. Her hair and fashion sense just screams individuality to a tee. What made he a target for bullies in the past is what countless fans admire about her now. She is not afraid to be herself, bright colors and all. The Russian beauty was born in Izhevsk, Russia in 1981. She would dream big as a child and it seems it has worked out very well for her. With a massively successful cosmetic brand under her belt, there seems to be no ceiling for the talented entrepreneur.


Doe Deere grew up in Russia and moved to New York City to fulfill her dreams of becoming a musician at 17. Career, marketing, and other factors she learned as a businesswoman in the music biz. Love was also in the stars for the unicorn queen. She met her husband Mark in their band SKY SALT. They learned to basics of a healthy relationship like teamwork and compromise when collaborating together in the band. They are still together over a decade later.


Back to the ever so popular makeup line Doe founded. It was after launched after Doe could simply not find the makeup that fit her personality and changing style. She wanted something bright and unusual, and it was not what she was finding on store shelves. It was all about natural, beige colors that was sleeping the beauty scene. Well, Doe wanted something different and so she created it. In 2008 Lime Crime was born online. The first online makeup store of its kind, Lime Crime was a candy store for colorful makeup lovers. It spread like wildfire and was an instant hit. Everyone wanted to try Doe’s makeup and make a statement of their own. With a passion for animal rights, Doe made sure that Lime Crime was vegan and cruelty-free. It is even certified by Leaping Bunny and PETA. The CEO and businesswoman wants to inspire young women to follow their dreams of owning a business. She regularly attend events and gets on social media to help these budding entrepreneurs with questions they may have about going into the business. Learn more:
